Version 0.0.22 ·

SSH hosts on Windows and Linux, and no surprise restarts#

The Windows and Linux apps can now work with SSH hosts, and agents and terminals on a host keep running when the connection drops. On the Mac, the app no longer restarts itself after an update.

Added4

  • SSH Hosts On Windows And Linux

On Windows the app uses Windows' own OpenSSH, so a host that signs in with a password asks once per connection it opens.

  • Antigravity Accounts Everywhere

Antigravity accounts work on Windows, Linux, WSL distros and SSH hosts, and switch the same way as on the Mac.

  • Add A Host From Settings

Add an SSH host before any project is on it, so its agents can be set up first.

  • Terminal Paths Open Beside The Terminal

A file path a terminal prints opens in the editor beside the terminal, so the terminal stays in view.

Changed1

  • Claude Limits On Every Machine

Claude limits now come from Claude Code's status line on every machine, this computer included. They show after a session's first turn.

Fixed2

  • No Restart After An Update

On macOS the app no longer restarts by itself after an update. The installer could be started again by macOS and reopened the app each time it was quit.

  • Hosts Keep Running When The Connection Drops

Agents and terminals on an SSH host were ended as soon as the app reconnected. Now it picks them up where they were.

A smoother Settings and a working Ubuntu install#

The Ubuntu .deb now installs everything the app needs to start on a fresh system. Settings opens and closes its rows more smoothly.

Changed2

  • Smoother Settings

Agent and module rows in Settings open and close smoothly, and Settings is a little wider.

  • Hand Cursor On Buttons

Every clickable button shows the hand cursor.

Fixed1

  • Ubuntu Install On A Fresh System

The .deb installs everything the app needs to start.

Tenslo Code Mobile and machines in the projects bar#

Watch and steer your agents from a phone, and see every machine you work on as its own group in the projects bar. Agents and terminals on SSH hosts and WSL distros can keep running after you quit.

Added5

  • Tenslo Code Mobile

Watch and steer your agents from a phone on the same Wi-Fi: see each session live, reply, send keys, start Claude Code or Codex, and check usage. Pair in Settings › Mobile. It is encrypted and off by default.

  • Machines In The Projects Bar

Projects are grouped by machine and each group folds. An offline machine is dimmed, with the reason on hover. A machine menu holds its settings, Add project, Rename, Hide, Disconnect or Reconnect, and Remove.

  • Keep Running On Quit

Agents and terminals on an SSH host or WSL distro can keep running for up to a day, and reconnect on the next launch.

  • Clone, Create And Import On Other Machines

Clone, Create and Import now work on WSL distros and SSH hosts. SSH projects also get Open in, for an editor or a terminal app.

  • The In-App Browser On SSH Hosts

The in-app browser works on SSH hosts, with all traffic going through the host.

Changed1

  • A Settings Page Per Machine And Project

Each machine has its own Agents, Modules, shell, agent commands and worktree folder, and each project has its environment and tools. These replace Settings › Agents and Settings › Modules.

Fixed1

  • Offline Machines Say No

An action on a machine that is offline or reconnecting is refused with the reason instead of running later. A dropped SSH link is noticed in about 20 seconds.

Tenslo Code

Version 0.0.19 ·

Windows 11, WSL 2 and SSH hosts#

Tenslo Code now runs on Windows 11 (x64) and works with projects on WSL 2 distros and SSH hosts. Each machine shows up next to your own, with its terminals, agents, editor, search and Git running where the folder lives.

Added5

  • Projects On SSH Hosts

Add project › Location › an SSH host. Terminals, agents with live status, the editor, search, Git and worktrees run on that machine using your own SSH config and keys. The host needs Linux (x64 or arm64).

  • Windows 11 (x64)

Native terminals (PowerShell 7, Windows PowerShell, cmd, Git Bash), agent hooks and live status. The installer is not signed yet.

  • WSL 2 Projects

Each running distro is its own machine next to This PC, and a project runs where its folder is.

  • Agents, Accounts And Usage Per Machine

Settings › Agents groups agents by machine and runs install, update and sign-in there. One account shows once on the usage meter, and Stats has a machine filter.

  • Several Browser Pages Per Worktree

Each page is its own tab, and pages can sit side by side.

Changed1

  • Offline Machines Stay Put

An offline machine keeps its name on the project, with the reason on hover. Terminals freeze, actions that need the machine are disabled, and unsaved edits are kept. Reconnecting is automatic, one try at a time.

Fixed1

  • Unsaved Tabs Stay Open

A tab with unsaved edits stays open when its file disappears.

Version 0.0.18 ·

Ubuntu, a status bar, and a steadier background#

Tenslo Code now runs on Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04, adds a status bar and DevTools as a tab, and runs terminals in a separate background process that restarts on its own.

Added4

  • Ubuntu 22.04 And 24.04 (x64)

Available as a .deb and an AppImage, with Ctrl+Shift where macOS uses Command.

  • A Status Bar

A bar along the bottom of the window shows the caret's line, column and selection. Usage meters sit at its left end and listening ports at its right.

  • DevTools As A Tab

DevTools opens as a tab beside the browser page.

  • Grok

Grok sign-in, usage and limits, shown like Claude's.

Changed1

  • A Separate Background Process

Terminals, agent status, usage, git, files and language features run in a separate process that restarts on its own without losing your terminals.

Fixed2

  • Terminals Survive Updates

Terminals and agents no longer stop after an update when another app quits. On the Mac they run under a helper, “Tenslo Code Terminals”, which needs any Full Disk Access granted once more.

  • A Flooding Terminal Stays In Its Lane

A terminal flooding output no longer slows typing in other terminals.

Open any file, and copy and paste in Files#

Files open from Finder, the Dock or ⌘O, and the Files panel gains Cut, Copy and Paste. A session keeps showing Working while its background subagents run.

Added2

  • Open A File

Open a file from Finder, the Dock, open -a or File > Open File… (⌘O). It opens as a tab in the project that holds it. File > Open Project… no longer has a shortcut.

  • Cut, Copy And Paste In Files

A paste never replaces anything, and files copied in Finder paste in.

Changed1

  • Fewer Leftovers

The Commit control in the workspace header, the start screen's recent terminals, and the account import from the previous app are gone.

Fixed2

  • Working While Subagents Run

A session keeps showing Working while its background subagents run.

  • Side Columns Return

Side columns return to their widths when a narrowed window widens again.

Module pages, notebooks and linting#

See each project's environment and tools on a module page, get editor help in Python notebooks, and fix ESLint and Ruff problems from your own installs. The download is 30% smaller.

Added4

  • Module Pages

A module page shows the project's environment and each tool it uses, with version, config and Install when missing.

  • Python Notebook Cells

Python notebook cells get completions, hover and problems.

  • ESLint And Ruff Fixes

ESLint and Ruff problems and fixes, including Fix all, come from the project's own installs. Nothing is bundled or downloaded.

  • Symbols In Quick Open

⌘P lists workspace symbols. Start with # to list only symbols.

Fixed3

  • Edits Survive A Reload

Unsaved edits survive a window reload and a renderer crash.

  • A Smaller App

The download is 30% smaller and the installed app 40% smaller.

  • Your Environment Honoured

CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR, CODEX_HOME and XDG_CONFIG_HOME set in your shell's startup files are honoured. A startup file that hangs no longer stops terminals from opening.

Notebooks, problems and format on save#

Jupyter notebooks open rendered and run in place, Problems lists what is wrong in a file or the whole project, and files format on save with the project's own formatter.

Added5

  • Jupyter Notebooks

Notebooks open rendered, edit in place, diff by cell, and run Python cells with the project's .venv.

  • Problems

Problems for the current file or the whole project, with error underlines in Files.

  • Format On Save

Files format on save with the project's own formatter: Biome, Prettier, dprint, ruff or black. Go organizes imports on save.

  • Modules In Settings

Each language, Config and data, Markdown, Images and Notebooks has its servers and options in Settings. The editor says when a file's language is not being checked, with Install or Retry.

  • Math In Markdown

    Markdown now shows math.

Fixed1

  • Never A Committed Virtual Environment

Python servers and notebook kernels never use a .venv committed to the repository.

Clearer change marks in Files#

Folders and conflicts in Files say more at a glance, and the Markdown preview is as wide as a README on GitHub.

Changed4

  • Folders Show Their Most Urgent Change

Folders in Files take the colour of the most urgent change inside them.

  • A Red Conflict Mark

A merge conflict shows a red conflict mark instead of a green U.

  • A Wider Markdown Preview

The preview is as wide as a README on GitHub, with diagrams centred.

  • Git History On Its Own

Git History runs in its own background process, which restarts by itself.

Tenslo Code

Version 0.0.13 ·

Send a selection to an agent#

Paste a selection into an agent by path and line, and clean up merged worktrees in one step.

Added2

  • Send To Agent

Send to Agent in the editor's menu pastes the selection as path:L3-7.

  • Delete Merged Worktree

Merged worktrees can be deleted, squash merges included.

Changed1

  • Hooks At A Glance

Settings › Agents shows which agents have hooks installed.

Fixed1

  • Search Says Why It Failed

Search now says why it failed instead of “No results”.

Tenslo Code

Version 0.0.12 ·

A tidier narrow window and steadier Git#

Files keep their place across tabs and worktrees, the right column steps aside in a narrow window, and projects keep their layout when git can't run.

Added3

  • Files Keep Their Place

Files keep their cursor, scroll and folds across tabs and worktrees.

  • A Narrow Window Steps Aside

In a narrow window the right column steps aside. The rail or ⌘⌥B shows it.

  • One Git Notice

One “Git isn't available” notice, with Install and Check again.

Fixed1

  • Layout Kept When Git Can't Run

When git can't run, projects keep their worktrees, tabs, pins and layout.

Version 0.0.11 ·

Update card, Mermaid tabs and Markdown zoom#

Updates show their size and progress and never restart the app on their own. Mermaid diagrams open in their own tab with zoom and pan.

Added5

  • Update Card

The card shows size, progress and Restart to Update. It never restarts on its own.

  • An Updates Button

An Updates button on the rail lists updates for the app and each agent CLI.

  • Mermaid Diagrams

Mermaid diagrams open in their own tab, with zoom and pan.

  • Markdown Preview Zoom

    Zoom with pinch, ⌘-scroll or + − 0.

  • Links In Terminals

A web link in a terminal asks where to open. ⌘-click opens the browser tab.

Fixed1

  • Deleted Files Open As A Diff

A deleted file opens as a diff instead of an error.

Tenslo Code

Version 0.0.10 ·

A browser tab, file icon sets and Antigravity history#

Open a browser from the + menu, pick a file icon set, and find Antigravity conversations in ⌘P and history.

Added5

  • A Browser From The + Menu

⇧⌘B opens a browser, with address suggestions from running servers and visited pages.

  • File Icon Sets

Pick an icon set in Settings › Theme.

  • Antigravity Conversations

Antigravity conversations appear in ⌘P and history, and resume on restore.

  • Push From The Commit Menu

The commit menu pushes waiting commits while other work stays uncommitted.

  • Remove Agent Hooks

Settings › Agents › Advanced removes Tenslo's agent hooks.

Fixed2

  • Weekly Limits Return

Claude's model-scoped weekly limits show again.

  • Menu Shortcuts Work In Agents

⌘Q, ⌘H, ⌘M and other menu shortcuts work while an agent has the keyboard.

Tenslo Code

Version 0.0.9 ·

Reopen closed tabs and save automatically#

⇧⌘T brings back the last closed tab, files auto save a second after you stop typing, and Settings checks for updates.

Added4

  • Reopen Closed Tab

⇧⌘T reopens the last closed tab. An agent resumes its conversation.

  • Auto Save

Files save a second after typing stops, never over an agent's changes. Configurable in Settings › Editor.

  • Find In The Preview

⌘F finds text in the preview.

  • Check For Updates

Settings › General shows the version and checks for updates, asking before downloading.

Changed1

  • Links Open In The Preview

A web link in a terminal opens in the preview. ⌘-click opens your browser.

Fixed1

  • Copy And Paste In Claude Code

⌘C and ⌘V work in Claude Code, and ⌘C no longer interrupts it.

Tenslo Code

Version 0.0.8 ·

⌘R opens Run Script, and images zoom and pan.

Added2

  • Run Script

    ⌘R opens Run Script.

  • Zoom And Pan Images

    Images zoom and pan.

Fixed2

  • New Agent Tabs Fit Their Pane

A new agent tab starts at its pane's width.

  • Closing A Starting Agent

Closing an agent tab while it starts stops the agent.

Tenslo Code

Version 0.0.7 ·

Preview your dev server and pick elements for the agent#

A dev server opens in a preview tab, and you can pick an element in it to hand to the agent along with its source line.

Added3

  • Dev Server Preview

A dev server opens in a preview tab from its port chip, with DevTools and ⌘R.

  • Pick An Element

Pick an element in the preview to paste it, with its source line, into the agent.

  • Agents Drive Their Own Preview

Claude and Codex can drive their worktree's preview, and nothing else.

Changed1

  • Send A Queued Message Now

⌃↩ sends a queued message to Claude Code right away.

Tenslo Code

Version 0.0.6 ·

Background updates and split panes#

Updates download in the background and your terminals, agents and dev servers survive the restart. A worktree can now have up to four panes.

Added3

  • Background Updates

Updates download in the background. Terminals, agents and dev servers survive the restart.

  • Up To Four Panes

Split a worktree into up to four panes with ⌘\, a tab's menu, or by dragging onto a pane's edge.

  • Antigravity Accounts

Antigravity accounts in Settings › Agents, including the Mac's shared Keychain login.

Tenslo Code

Version 0.0.5 ·

Dictation you can rely on#

⌘E now transcribes with an English speech model that runs on your Mac's Neural Engine, with a half to a quarter of the old engine's mistakes. Usage meters say plainly what has been used.

Changed4

  • Dictation You Can Rely On

The microphone opens the moment you press ⌘E, and ⌘E again pastes what you said one sentence at a time. The model downloads once, about 450 MB, and dictation needs only the microphone permission.

  • Usage You Can Read

The sidebar footer says “Used” beside its meters. Hovering a meter shows each limit window, how much of it is used, and when it resets.

  • One Repository At A Time

A folder of repositories is one row in the sidebar again. Changes and History pick the repository they act on from a picker at the top of both.

  • Your Retention, Untouched

Tenslo no longer raises Claude's cleanupPeriodDays; it only reads it. Usage totals stay whole in Tenslo's own ledger.

Fixed2

  • Working Agents Stay Working

After the Mac slept or the app was busy, working agents no longer turn idle until their next step.

  • Usage For Every Account

Settings reads an account's limits the moment you switch to it, instead of showing “Usage unavailable”.

Tenslo Code

Version 0.0.4 ·

Quick open, rename in place, and a lighter app#

Files open from ⌘P, symbols rename where they stand, and files move by dragging. The window paints sooner, and a working agent's spinner costs a fraction of the GPU it did.

Added4

  • Quick Open

⌘P opens the switcher on the workspace's files, open files first. Typing ranks files by name, and files the repository ignores are left out.

  • Rename In Place

F2 renames the symbol under the caret across the project through the language server. One ⌘Z takes the rename back everywhere, closed files included.

  • Move Files By Dragging

Files and folders move by dragging them in the Files panel. TypeScript and JavaScript imports follow the move, and one toast offers Undo.

  • Switch Branch From Files

The branch in the Files header opens a picker. If an agent in that workspace is working or waiting for you, it asks first.

Fixed1

  • Lighter Working Spinner

The working spinner turns in twelve steps. Two spinners on screen took 14% of the GPU process and now take about 4%.

Security1

  • No Repository Commands In Background Git

The background fetch and status turn off the hooks and filters a repository defines, and take credentials only from your own configuration.

Tenslo Code

Version 0.0.3 ·

Shared conversations and a hardened app#

Every Claude and Codex account sees the same conversations, and the Mac stays awake while agents work. Opening a cloned repository no longer runs any of its code.

Added4

  • Conversations Follow The Account

Every Claude and Codex account sees the same conversations, so a tab reopened after switching account carries on where it was.

  • Keep Awake, Ask Before Quitting

The Mac stays awake while any agent is working. Quitting while one works asks first and names the agents still going.

  • Permissions Checklist

The first run asks for the macOS permissions the app uses in one list, each with what it is for. The microphone appears only while dictation can run.

  • Behind Base

The header says “12 behind main” when a worktree has fallen behind the branch it started from.

Fixed1

  • Nothing Lost On A Crash

state.json and settings.json survive a torn write, and terminal scrollback is saved as sessions run, not only on a clean quit.

Security1

  • Repository Code Never Runs On Open

A cloned repository's own language server binaries, tsserver and git hooks are never run.

Tenslo Code

Version 0.0.2 ·

Manage files from the Files panel#

The Files panel creates, renames and moves to the Trash, and your chosen account follows you into every shell.

Added4

  • Files Panel Actions

New files and folders are typed in place, and a/b/c.ts creates the folders in between. Move to Trash asks first, and nothing is ever deleted permanently.

  • Accounts In Every Shell

claude or codex typed by hand into any terminal signs in as the account the switcher shows.

  • Drag To Hide Or Show

Dragging a project onto Hidden hides it, and dragging it back shows it where it was dropped.

  • Dictation Switch

Dictation can be turned on or off in Settings, which also shows its model and microphone.

Fixed2

  • Usage Meter Stays Put

A usage poll that comes back without numbers keeps the last reading instead of the meter disappearing.

  • Renames Keep Tabs

Renaming a file or folder moves its open tabs to the new path instead of closing them.

Tenslo Code

Version 0.0.1 ·

The first signed and notarized build#

The first build that opens on any Mac without a Gatekeeper warning. It carries the name Tenslo Code, and an agent that needs you now reaches you wherever you are.

Added4

  • Rename To Tenslo Code

The app is Tenslo Code. Its data lives in ~/Library/Application Support/Tenslo Code/, and worktrees in ~/TensloCode/worktrees/.

  • Notifications

An agent asking for input reaches you wherever you are, not only while its tab is focused.

  • Plain Folders As Projects

A folder without a git repository can be added as a project.

  • Per-Project Usage Ledger

Usage history is kept in a durable ledger on your Mac, and Stats can scope it to one project.

Changed2

  • Release Builds

Release builds are signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple.

  • Notification Permission Ask

macOS's permission dialog is never raised cold. The app asks inside first, the first time an agent stops while you are in another app.

Try the latest build.

For macOS, Windows and Linux.
